The Connally band program is comprised of Varsity and Non-Varsity ensembles; including the Wind Ensemble, the Symphonic Band, the Jazz Band, the Marching Band, and the Winter Guard. These ensembles offer a variety of both musical and physical outlets with high standards of performance execution and commitment.
The Wind Bands include the Wind Ensemble, which is the Varsity group. the Symphonic Band is the Non-Varsity group. and the Jazz band which is open to all performers.
The Marching Band is a Varsity Composite Ensemble which supports the football team and school spirit for the students of Connally High School. 8th Grade students are allowed to participate in this group.
The Winter Guard is the most visual element of the Connally Band Program. It is comprised of members that love dance, acting, and work with equipment including silks, weapons, and props.
The Directors of the Connally Band programs come from all over Texas and have many years of experience.
