Junior High Principal

Annie Connor

It is my pleasure to continue to serve you as principal of Connally Junior High this year, and with it being my 10th year in educational leadership. Prior to becoming principal, I had many educational and  leadership experiences including teacher, youth services coordinator, and as assistant principal.  Even with these amazing experiences, I will always be a teacher at heart. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s Degree in School Leadership from Texas A&M, Texarkana.

By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning. Also, as the daughter of educators, I am ecstatic to continue the legacy and serve the students and their families. I understand how important the role of school plays in making sure the children of our community are receiving a quality education and are prepared with skills they  will need to be successful.

Junior High Associate Principal

Jonathan Shaw

This is the beginning of my 15th year in education and I am thrilled to join the Connally Cadet family.  I began my career in Penelope ISD as a math and robotics teacher and then went back home to West ISD for a couple of years as a 6th grade math teacher.  After returning to Penelope ISD as a social studies and robotics teacher, I completed my Masters in Education Administration through Tarleton State University.  My first administrative role was at Rosebud-Lott ISD as an elementary assistant principal.  RLISD then promoted me to elementary principal, where I enjoyed serving the students and families of Rosebud-Lott for five years.  My family and I are excited that I get the opportunity to now serve as the associate principal at Connally Junior High.  Middle school is where I spent most of my career and I am excited to return to serving sixth through eighth students.  GO CADETS!
