Unofficial results for today’s elections are available. These results are based off of data reported at 9:00 PM on May 4, 2024.
Congratulations to the new members of the Connally ISD Board of Trustees!

Keith Black, Sr. – 792 Votes
Place 6:
Steven Carter – 749 Votes
Place 7:
Diane Davis – 535 Votes
Trey Copeland – 401 Votes
Voters in Connally ISD rejected the bond for a proposed new elementary school. The results of that ballot measure or as follows:
For – 486 Votes
Against – 629 Votes
Results of today’s election are not considered official until the completion of the vote canvassing process.



Ms. Bottelberghe and Mr. Donaldson are at the Lacy Lakeview Civic Center ready to answer any questions you might have about the bond! They can't tell you how to vote, but they can give you information!

Your vote is your voice! Today is election day. Eligible voters may cast their ballot at any vote center in McLennan County. The closest polling locations in district boundaries can be found at the Lacy Lakeview Civic Center and Chalk Bluff Baptist Church. Polls will close at 7:00 PM tonight. Today was the first annual Connally ISD College, Career, and Military Readiness Day! We had a great time watching students from each of our campuses talk to the wide variety of professionals that were eager to explain what their jobs and organizations had to offer!

We hope that you will join us as we celebrate our talented student athletes at this year's high school Athletic Ceremony. The event will be held on May 7 at 6:30 PM in the high school auditorium. Contact your student's coach for more information.

Connally ISD is excited to STEM Camps throughout the 2024 summer break! Camps are open to any student currently enrolled in 3rd-8th grade. Registration costs $50.00 per student.
Session 1 will run from May 28 to June 6. Session 2 will run from June 11 to June 20. Camp will be held at Connally Junior High School from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day. Bus transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided for all participants.

GOOD NEWS ALERT!
Congratulations to CHS freshman Kenniddi Shed! As a member of the Mentor Waco program, she participated in a poetry competition sponsored by the Waco Community Race Relations Coalition. Her performance was ranked 3rd overall at the "Night of Poetic Expression" event. This placement came not only with recognition, but also a monetary award!
We love seeing our students shine bright and represent the #CadetStandard in our community! Way to go, Kenniddi!

Please be aware that students might arrive home late due to the potential of inclement weather. Connally ISD is monitoring the situation and the transportation department is operating in an abundance of caution to keep all students and faculty members safe.

The FINAL Intervention Friday of the 2023-2024 school year will be held on April 26. Parents of students who are required to attend classes on this date have been notified. Students who have been selected for additional instruction on intervention days are required to attend, per Sec. 25.085 of the Texas Education Code.
Campus doors will open for drop off at 7:30. Instruction lasts from 8:00 to 12:00. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. School bus transportation is available for any student who needs it - see the attached picture that explains the changes to bus routes/schedules.
