“NO MATTER WHAT THE SCORE, THE CONNALLY SPIRIT WILL NOT BE UPSET!”
Our Cadets came up short in the bi-district round of playoffs tonight against a tough team from Bellville. We are proud of their effort and have no doubt that they will use it as momentum in future seasons!

GOOD NEWS ALERT!
We are excited to congratulate 5th grade student Kolby Warren on receiving a Challenge Chip from that Connally ISD Police Department!
On October 24, an unknown individual approached the fence line of the Connally Elementary School playground during recess. Upon witnessing the individual approach the playground, Kolby encouraged the students on the playground to move away from the fence and head towards their recess monitors. His strong leadership and confident decision making helped campus administrators and local police agencies resolve the situation quickly.
Kolby's heroic actions on that afternoon are deserving of applause. He has received a Challenge Chip from the CISD Police Department, which is an accolade given between officers in police agencies as a way of saying "thank you" for their support and contribution of information that led to a crime being solved.
We are incredibly proud of Kolby! He is a model representation of the #CadetStandard!

November 11-15 is National School Psychology Week!
Connally ISD has one outstanding professional that serves our students as a school psychologist: the amazing Emily Sample.
She goes above and beyond to help our students thrive at school, at home, and in life! This year, Emily is working with two practicum students from Baylor University, helping train up the next generation of professionals.
We are so thankful to have Emily on our staff! She does a great job of representing the #CadetStandard!
GOOD NEWS ALERT! On Monday, November 11, students representing the CHS Debate team traveled to Salado High School to compete in the UIL ESC 12 Congressional Debate Tournament. These students spent their day discussing a variety of legislative issues including prison sentencing guidelines, rent prices, and the Israel-Palestine conflict. After SIX HOURS of competition, we are pleased to announce that Trenton Nemec placed in the top 10 of the tournament! Trenton's impressive performance represents the first time since 2018 a Connally student has placed in the top 10 at this tournament (and only the second time in school history). We are very proud of the hard work that he and his teammates put in at the contest!
Shepherd's Heart will be in Connally ISD from 3:30 to 4:30 this afternoon for the November FREE food distribution. There is no income verification required.
Connally ISD would like to assure all parents and community members that the safety of our students and staff is a top priority in our district. For this reason, we are notifying you of an incident that occurred at Connally Junior High School as school ended today, November 12.
As students made their way from their last period class for dismissal, a student pulled a fire alarm. Following campus protocol, the building was immediately evacuated so that administrators and first responders could investigate the cause of the triggered alarm. It was determined that there was no fire or cause for concern. We appreciate the quick response of our local fire department officials.
We recognize that the stressful nature of this occurrence - particularly in the context of its timing during our regular dismissal procedures - could lead to anxiety. We would like to assure all of our parents that we will continue conducting a thorough investigation into this matter to make sure that we can avoid any such occurrences in the future.
The student that pulled the alarm has been identified and will face consequences as lined out in the Connally ISD Student Handbook and Code of Conduct. We encourage each of our families to remind their students of the seriousness of situations such as this.
Thank you for your continued patience in this matter.
Congratulations to these amazing Lady Cadets who were awarded District Honors for their outstanding performance throughout their season in District 23-4A! These ladies work hard on and off the court. We are so proud to watch them as they represent the #CadetStandard!
Remi Wissinger is a 4-year-old battling Leukemia B-Cell cancer. Her parents are two graduates of Connally High School, and her grandparents were both longtime employees of the district.
The family is hosting a benefit on Sunday, November 17. The event will feature silent & live auctions, raffle prizes, and food plates for $15.00 - dine in or to go. All proceeds from this event will go towards the family. We hope that the Connally community will come together to help support this family which has given so much to our school for decades.
