GOOD NEWS ALERT!
Connally ISD has received ANOTHER Superior Achievement FIRST rating. This is the highest rating a district can receive from the TEA.
The TEA FIRST Rating, developed by the Texas Education Agency, is a financial accountability system that assesses school districts on their fiscal management and overall financial health. It evaluates critical indicators such as budgetary practices, financial stability, and operational efficiency. This rating helps ensure that districts are using resources effectively, promoting transparency and accountability to taxpayers while fostering better educational outcomes for students.
The TEA FIRST Rating examines several key indicators, including the adequacy of fund balances, debt management, and compliance with financial reporting standards. It also looks at the district’s ability to meet financial obligations, the efficiency of spending, and the effectiveness of budget planning. By analyzing these metrics, the TEA FIRST Rating provides a comprehensive view of a district's financial health, helping to ensure responsible stewardship of public funds.
Connally ISD has consistently received the highest rating possible. The district remains committed to doing all that it can to provide for our staff and students while operating in the best interest of the taxpayers that support us!

We are excited for tomorrow's varsity football game against the Robinson Rockets!
Please take a moment to review our Athletic Event Regulations. The fun of Friday Night Lights can only happen if our students and guests are working hard to uphold the #CadetStandard!
Please be mindful that any student enrolled in 8th grade or below must be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout the game. We ask that fans remain seated in the stands unless they are actively headed to the restrooms or concession stand. Fans that are found to be in noncompliance of these guidelines will be asked to leave the game without a refund.
Connally ISD administrators can be found patrolling areas under the bleachers and around the restrooms and concession stands. If you have a concern, please do not hesitate to reach out to an administrator so that they may help resolve any issues.

Messages such as this are tremendously difficult to deliver.
It is with a very heavy heart that we inform our community of the death of one of our littlest Cadets from the Connally Early Childhood Center. Za’hir Johnson was a kindergarten student at CECC. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family as they grieve this tragic loss.
The death of a student can bring about many emotions. CISD counselors and support from the Region 12 Education Service Center have been coordinated to assist students and staff in processing this information. The campus has been provided with age appropriate resources to assist our younger students with processing the loss if needed, and that information is being provided to the parents.
We are in contact with Za’hir’s family and remain committed to providing them with support. We ask that all of Cadet Nation continue to shower them with thoughts and prayers.
Again, do not hesitate to reach out if your child needs additional support or if we can be of further assistance.
