Connally ISD has spent the day in consultation with the National Weather Service. The most recent information released indicates that our communities are expected to receive cold rain tomorrow, but should not experience any ice accumulation throughout the school day.
Based on this report, the district has made the decision to operate on a normal schedule. All campuses will run on normal operating hours.
We will continue to watch the forecast and monitor updates that we receive from the National Weather Service. Texas weather can be unpredictable, but Connally ISD remains committed to keeping our stakeholders up to date with any changes to our operating plan.
The district will communicate any additional updates regarding school delays, closures, or early dismissals through our social media accounts, Thrillshare messaging system, and announcements through the local news media.

January is School Board Recognition Month!
We are incredibly thankful for each of these outstanding citizens who go above and beyond to serve their school community. They dedicate an incalculable amount of their time to help us set and uphold the #CadetStandard.
Thank you!!!!

Connally Primary's administrators had the opportunity to cross something off of their Christmas Wish Lists - reliving the fun of Friday Night Lights!
These ladies might not get to perform as Blue Angels or ride the touchdown tank during their normal work day, but they have just as much fun working with our students!

With Christmas parties happening all across the district, the administrators couldn't help but get in on the fun!
Thank you to the CHS Culinary Arts Department for making a DELICIOUS meal (complete with dessert) for the Admin Building's Christmas Lunch! The food was good enough to place each of the cooks on the nice list!

Buses 108 and 117 are running late this afternoon. Students who ride these routes will arrive home approximately 20-30 minutes later than usual. We apologize for the inconvenience.

GOOD NEWS ALERT!
Fans who attended last night's home basketball game got the chance to witness a surprise tribute to our LEGENDARY head coach - the one and only Quinton Snell.
Coach Snell was honored for reaching his 25th year as head coach of the Cadets. He was presented with a signed basketball by HIS high school coach, Dale Snelling, who was joined on the court by several of Coach Snell's former teammates.
During the ceremony, Coach Snelling informed the crowd that the signed ball should look familiar - it was the same one that Snell and his teammates had given their coach at the end of their senior season in 1988.
Through incalculable hours of hard work over the years, Quinton Snell has established the Connally Cadets as one of the best basketball programs in the state. He has made a positive impact on countless students both on the court and in the classroom. He is a model representation of the #CadetStandard.
