Kindergarten is working hard to reach goals! One of our goals is to count to 100. Once a student can count to 100, their name goes on the board in the hallway!

Our first holiday will be coming up next week on Monday, Sept. 2nd. Connally ISD will be closed for Labor Day!
We are excited about the first football game this Friday, August 30th! We invite all students and staff to wear a super hero shirt on Friday to cheer on our Cadets to victory over the Bumblebees!
Our lunchroom will be open to guests starting Monday, August 26th! Guests are invited to have lunch with their child according to the alpha of the child's last name. A valid ID will be required to check in!

Tomorrow is our favorite day of the year! Our doors will open at 7:00 am for breakfast and close at 7:30 am. Please remain in your car. Staff will get your child out and walk your child into the building. We also ask for patience at morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. The lines are always longer and slower the first few days of school. We promise it will get faster though as our littles ones learn the routine!

Please make note of the traffic flow for morning drop-off and pick-up at CECC! Parents, we ask that you remain in your car. Staff members will come to your car to get your child out, and will walk your child into the building! We will have lots of extra help the first morning of school to ensure everyone gets to the right place! We ask that you also stay in your car at dismissal and display your car sign in the front window. Staff will walk your child to your car. Finally, please have patience for the first few days. The line is always slow the first week as students learn the routine, but it WILL get much faster!

Tuesday, August 6th is Meet the Teacher for CECC! We will welcome parents and students into the building at 5:00pm. This is a come-and-go event that will last until 6:30 pm. Please feel free to bring your child’s school supplies. This is the best time to see your child’s classroom as parents will not be able to walk their children in on the first day of school due to security protocols. Class lists will be available at Meet the Teacher and staff will be on hand to help you find your child’s classroom!

As we near the start of the 2024-2025 school year, we are excited to announce the arrival of several new staff members at Connally ISD!
