Parents, Course selections have been given out. Please review classes with students. Upcoming 9th graders will need to choose a total of eight (8) classes. We will begin choosing classes and filling out students' 4-year plan starting tomorrow. Congratulations to the CHS Marching Band! After taking home a 1st division at the Troy Marching Festival on Wednesday, the band continued practicing in preparation for today's Midway Marching Preview! Their hard work has paid off! The Connally Cadets are one of the 10 schools performing in the FINALS of tonight's contest! We are so proud of these students and can't wait to watch them represent the #CadetStandard among the best of the best!

Monday, September 23, is the 2024 Heart of Texas College Night at the Mark & Paula Hurd Welcome Center! Interested students can stop by the Welcome Center from 6:00 to 8:00 PM to visit with representatives from over 50 different colleges and universities. This is a great opportunity for students to make contact with these institutions and learn about all of the exciting opportunities available for them after they graduate! Connally HS Theatre is ready to rock and roll with the first production of the 2024-2025 season! Students can stop by Ms. Abalos's classroom to get more information and pick up an audition packet for the 2024 Fall Production: ANATOMY OF GRAY! This poignant drama is certain to move our audiences while also challenging our actors and technicians as performers! Auditions will be held in the CHS Auditorium from on August 28 from 4:45 to 6:45. We are eagerly awaiting the return of students to Connally High School on August 12! CHS has not made any changes to its cell phone policy for the upcoming school year. Student cell phones/air pods/smart watches will be required to be sealed away in their Yondr pouches throughout the school day beginning on the first day of the school year. This protocol is part of the routine for Connally High School and will be followed every day of the school year. Incoming 9th graders/new students will receive their Yondr pouch on the first day of school. Returning students will use the Yondr pouches they were given last school year. New and/or refurbished Yondr pouches may be purchased during registration or any day of the school year from the CHS Front Office. This meeting will give parents and students the opportunity to learn all about what they can expect in the upcoming season.
