ATTENTION 8TH GRADE PARENTS:
This afternoon is the FINAL CALL for parents to meet with the CHS Counseling Staff to discuss their students incoming 9th grade plan.
The counselors will be at the Connally Junior High Library from 4:00 to 5:30 PM today to meet with parents. They can answer any questions you or your student might have about the transition to high school.
Reminder: Parental review and approval of a 4 year plan is REQUIRED before the student can register for 9th grade.
Attention 8th Grade Parents!
Did you miss last night's Incoming Ninth Grader meeting? No worries! Mrs. Clifton will be available at Connally Junior High from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM TOMORROW, January 31, to meet with parents and review their students' four year plans.
Reminder: Parent review and approval of the 4 year plan is REQUIRED before a student can enter 9th grade.

Course selections have been given out. Please review classes with students. Upcoming 9th graders will need to choose a total of eight (8) classes. We will begin choosing classes and filling out students' 4-year plan starting tomorrow.
Classes must include each of the following:
English
Math
Social Studies
Science
Spanish 1 or 2
PE Credit
Fine Art Credit
Program of Study Elective

It's hard to believe it, but it's time for the Class of 2029 to start making plans for high school!
There will be an important informational meeting with ALL parents of incoming freshmen on Wednesday, January 29th at 5:30 PM at the Connally High School Auditorium. This meeting will give parents the opportunity to meet the CHS Counseling and Administration Team, learn about graduation requirements, and see all of the exciting clubs, organizations, and activities that students can participate in at the high school campus.
Parents will also review their student's required 4 year plan for high school during this meeting. Parent review of the 4 year plan is REQUIRED before a student can enter the 9th grade.

It's hard to believe it, but we are officially at the end of the 2023-2024 school year!
We want to make the transition to high school life as smooth as possible for the Class of 2028. Mark your calendars for FISH CAMP! This event, which will be held on the high school campus on August 6 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, will give students the opportunity to learn all about the traditions, rules, and exciting opportunities that are waiting for them at CHS!
