All Connally ISD campuses will be closed on Friday, March 29. Students will report back to school on Monday, April 1.

A bond election for a proposed new elementary school will be held on May 4, 2024.
Did you know that the funds generated by this proposed bond could ONLY be used for the construction of the proposed new elementary school and related demolitions? Should voters approve the measure, no portion of the funds could be allocated towards athletics.

We had a full house at last night's board meeting! Congratulations to each of the phenomenal students and faculty members who were recognized for their recent accomplishments and contributions.
Jayce Swindall and Hadley Norman were recognized as 3rd Grade Students of the Month for Connally Primary School. Hannah Foster was recognized as the Primary's Teacher of the Month.
Maddison Ocampo was recognized as Connally Junior High's AVID Student of the Month.
Jocelyn Castillo and Alexander Woodley was recognized as 10th Grade Students of the Month for Connally High School. Officer Martin Flores was recognized as the High School's Employee of the Month.
Laurie Tresl, the Director of Special Education for CISD, acknowledged the SPED Department's Diagnosticians and Social Worker in honor of School Diagnostician and Social Worker Week.
We are so thankful for the great contributions that each of these individuals give to Cadet Nation. They are models of what the #CadetStandard is all about!
Don't forget about tonight's Informational Meeting regarding the bond election for a proposed new elementary school. The meeting will be held at 6:30 PM at Connally Elementary. This is a separate event from the City of Lacy Lakeview's town hall.

Tonight's softball game against China Spring has been moved to tomorrow, March 26. The varsity game will be held at 6:30. There will not be a JV game.
The game will include a fundraiser sponsored by both schools to benefit families in both communities battling leukemia.
The Connally ISD Board of Trustees will meet tonight at the Administration Building for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting. A special meeting will be held starting at 6:15 to discuss the district's annual report card.

Town Hall Meetings will be held at 6:30 PM on March 26 and April 2 at Connally Elementary School. These meetings will give community members the opportunity to tour the campus and hear an informational presentation about the upcoming bond election for a proposed new elementary school.

Don't forget about Monday's Softball Game/Fundraiser this week at China Spring. All funds generated will go towards helping two families in our communities that are in need of assistance as they fight against cancer. We hope to see you there!
Due to weather concerns, tonight's softball game has been relocated to Axtell. The varsity game will start at 8:00 PM. There will be no subvarsity games.

Connally ISD's School Health Advisory Council will hold a meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the board room of the Connally ISD Administration Building. Anyone interested is invited to attend the meeting. Questions about this meeting can be directed to Pam White, CISD RN, at pwhite@connally.org.
The next Intervention Friday will be held this week on March 22. Parents of students who are required to attend classes on this date have been notified. Students who have been selected for additional instruction on intervention days are required to attend, per Sec. 25.085 of the Texas Education Code.
Campus doors will open for drop off at 7:30. Instruction lasts from 8:00 to 12:00. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. School bus transportation is available for any student who needs it - see the attached picture that explains the changes to bus routes/schedules.

The track meet at La Vega has been rescheduled from Thursday, March 14 to Wednesday, March 13 due to potential bad weather.
