Congratulations to Clifford Anderson, a high school history teacher and athletic coach, for being named the 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year at Connally High School.
Coach Anderson was also named the Connally ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year for 2023-2024. He will represent the #CadetStandard as our nominee for the Secondary Teacher of the Year Award for Education Service Center Region 12.

When we recognized our service award recipients the other night, we missed one key employee that is a MODEL representation of the #CadetStandard.

Her work at the primary school is essential in keeping the day-to-day operations of the campus running smoothly. She is friendly, helpful, hardworking. We are very thankful to have her on our team!
As we kick off summer break, we want to wish a very happy retirement to some of our longtime employees! The students, faculty, and staff of Connally ISD will certainly miss these outstanding professionals next year, but we hope to make each of them proud by rising up to meet the #CadetStandard that they set!

Summer school starts on Tuesday, May 28. Students who are riding the bus should be ready to board by 6:45 AM in order to ensure that they don't miss it.

What could be a better way to kick off the last week of school than to have a board meeting FULL of recognitions for our students' awesome accomplishments?!
It was so exciting to recognize so many talented students!
8th graders Mallory Hancock and Kingston Meche were recognized as junior high Students of the Month. Annalexi Rhoades was named the CJH AVID Student of the Month.
9th graders Jazmin Onalaja and Cyrus Evans were recognized as high school Students of the Month.
We also took a moment to recognize Lindsay Judy, one of our district's awesome Speech-Language Pathologists, in honor of Speech and Hearing Month.
Following these individual recognitions, the board was presented with multiple high school groups who finished out their competition season with pride.
Congratulations to our high school One Act Play company, UIL Academic Team, Softball Team, and Track Teams for their great showings this year.
We have so much to be proud of. These and faculty members go above and beyond when setting the #CadetStandard each and every day!

May is Better Speech and Hearing Month! We are excited to spend May 18, 2024 - National Speech-Language Pathologist Appreciation Day - celebrating the amazing professionals that work with our students.
Connally ISD is beyond thankful for the hard work that Blanche Boudreaux, Lauren Dillavou, and Lindsay Judy put in every day as they work with our students. They go above and beyond to help every child, and they are model representations of the #CadetStandard!
The Class of 2024 is ready to go!
Commencement services begin at 7:00 PM at Mac Peoples Stadium.

Due to inclement weather, Connally ISD will dismiss all campuses one hour earlier than usual. The elementary, primary, and early childhood campuses will begin dismissal at 2:45 and the junior high and high school will dismiss at 3:15.
We are excited to celebrate the graduation of the Connally High School Class of 2024!
This year's commencement ceremony will be held on May 17, 2024 on the high school football field at Mac Peoples Stadium at 7:00 PM. The gates will open for audience members at 6:00 PM. Seating will be available in both the home and visitor stands.
There is no cost of admission. A concession stand will be available. Noisemakers and air horns are PROHIBITED.
A short fireworks display will follow the ceremony.

Connally ISD is excited to announce its 2024 Summer Meal Program!
Community members may receive meals from any of the participating locations to receive breakfast or lunch. Meals are free for children up to 18 years old. Adults may purchase breakfast for $3.25 and lunch for $4.75. There is no income verification required.
Connally Early Childhood Center and Connally Junior High School will serve breakfast from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM and lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. These locations will be open on business days from May 28 to June 20.
Connally High School will serve breakfast from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and lunch from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This location will be open on business days from May 28 to August 8.
Connally ISD will be closed from July 1 to July 4. The summer meal program will not be active during this window.

All Connally ISD campuses will be OPEN on Friday, May 10. ALL students should be in attendance for normal instruction. School will be in session for all students on May 10 and May 17.
